As a history teacher from Spain with a passion for French history, our family's stay at Metropole in Lyon was enhanced by its rich historical significance. The welcoming staff made us feel at home, a true reflection of Lyon's inclusivity throughout its history.Our daughter adored the unique puppet theatre, a nod to Lyon's cultural heritage. The pontoon boat rides on the Saône River allowed us to explore Lyon's historic sites from a different perspective, creating memories to treasure. The animals from around the world at the hotel added an educational touch, aligning with my values as an educator.The spacious and well-equipped family room in the new tower catered perfectly to our needs. The pool was a hit with our daughter, providing a relaxing end to our days of exploration.Metropole's blend of family-friendly amenities and historical charm made our stay truly unforgettable. We will definitely consider revisiting Lyon and staying at Metropole on our next French adventure.
